I rarely fight for my life when some one is doing the zombie on me, I go right to the stamp and get my arm back. They normally don't go for the zombie again. It does suck being on the receiving end. Any tips other that suck it up pussy or don't zombie ?
The new path
i havnt had a pro like rick put me in it or anything btu when we were training it, i found i could push up on my neck, (i dont think im describing this correctly) like a suplex, anyway, balance on the back of my head in order to make space and then move my hips over.
dunno sounds to easy as a counter, im guessing the guy was doing ti wrong. :)

Muddy waters works but I find you have to get to it very quickly to avoid the rubber stamp.

At Midwest training camp Eddie discussed stamp during Muddy Waters instruction.
Muddy waters, shift your hips out a little to avoid the stamp. That has been working for me so far.
rubber stamp is easily avoided as long as you don't play the rubber guard squared with your opponent. Instead play of to the angle which will put you on your right hip (left leg mission control as normal), and your right foot will still be on his hip.
