Rafael 'Formiga' Barbosa

Hey, my instructor just took third in the Adult Black Belt Open division in the Miami International Open this past weekend. To celebrate, here's a clip of him.

That's the only no-gi clip I can find of him on youtube. He does mostly gi. Anyway, he loves the butterfly guard and works the half guard in no-gi, so you'll probably enjoy the clip. He does a lot of things that are similar to 10th planet techniques and this is a pretty high energy match.

Just wanted to bump this thread, seeing as I just attended a seminar with Formiga today. It was incredible, the guy is amazing and you weren't kidding about the butterfly guard, we must have learned three or four different sweeps/techniques to submissions from butterfly guard today.
