old guy trubbs!

I started my bjj experience back when I dropped in some of Eddie's classes back at the Bomb Squad and many years latter putting serious work into his system after years of GI time. I love playing the GI game and playing lasso/spider guard has been fun but now my fingers are shot. I have arthritis in both hands and shoulders and calcium deposits on both elbows. So fate has happily pushed me back in Eddie's direction. Luckily I can gable grip like a mofo so looking at my pain as an opportunity to grow as a jiu jitsu guy! It should help that I have all the books and vids. Been doing Eddie's 1/2 guard system and spider web since I was a white belt. Glad to see 10th Planet growing strong!

Welcome back brotha! I hear ya about the arthritis, hip and ankle along with my wrists and fingers, years of gripping in Judo and Sambo destroyed them!

Thanks Coach...the joys of growing old. I use to rely on my wrestling too but now at 43 the gas take is not what it once was.
