Got double underhooks from half guard, lying on my back, in a gi. Get choked. :(

So I was trying out alder's move when your flat on your back with underhooks. However, i train in a gi, which leaft me open for a gi choke. Do any 10th planet guys who roll in the gi, know how to avoid getting choked. I was thinking of just sweeping while in the choke as I have trapped his leg, in lockdown and could trap one of his choking arms. But i would still be in the choke and against strong blokes i still think i would be in trouble.

I know Master Eddie developed the system in the gi, so how did you avoid getting Gi choked with double underhooks from lockdown while lying on your back?

Whenever anyone attacks yr neck with the gi, stop what yr doing and deal with it, unless yr about to sweep in the next 3 micro seconds!! :-)

Personally, I like to keep my head glued to the guy's chest and squeeze tight with underhooks before whip up.
