Love Vlad, he's my boy! However he is not the inventor of the Russian Cowboy (The term yes, not the technique). Its a standard technique in the Sambo curriculum from the North/South position,the way he has shown it. That being said, Vlad is a badass and has a ton of technique, I recommend him to anyone who had the oppertunity to train with him, and he is pro 10th Planet!

I was his rag doll for the throws and sweeps portion on the DVD. Vlad demonstrated some awesome technique that was very practical. He showed a different take on grappling atleast from what I am used to. Totally applicable for nogi. Very clear instruction which kept things easy to grasp. During filming he mentioned to me that 10P changed his whole halfguard approach which I thought was cool. Should be out around Christmas time, available at budovideos.com
