Have u seen a doctor yet? I suffered a grade II ankle sprain at Naga in Aug, and wasn't able to drill for 2-3 wks, and wasn't able to roll lightly until a month past (it's been about 2 months now and I still can't quite go 100%).
My advice would be see the doctor first make sure no fracture or tears, and then from there u can get a gauge of how ur rehab timeline should be.
What they tell you to do real low on money so I can't go to the doc but I can still move it and walk just can't twist it.
Rest it for a while and do ice it often. Tape the ankle to stabilize it from moving left or right, during rolling, when you come back of course. For a while, let your opponent know of your injury so they are careful, then be ready to tap with lightning speed if anything around that ankle gets threatened.
The above is when you want to come back quickly and rehab while not missing jiu jitsu. This is what I do but I don't think everyone is capable of this. If you really want the safe route, Brandon had a good suggestion to me: PRICE: Pressure, Rest, Ice, Compress, Elevation. I think this is correct. Most important of these is ice, and don't forget Advil to aid in stopping the swelling. This could be your chance to rep techniques over grappling.
Cool thanks that's I will do that ASAP cuz I have some unfinished comp... To get back to cuz I did not tap lol
If it snapped you gotta see a dr, no way around it
Would recommend this site too www.hemanklerehab.com, he offers a 30 day money back. I wasn't sure about it either but after I tried it out and did the whole hydrotherapy and stretching it helped me. I'm not 100% yet but I feel like it's helped.
And I concur with Eddie, if it snapped u def should see the doctor (even a "pop" I would).
