Below is a copy and paste from my Facebook about the evening! We went to Jackson Michigan and won both of our MMA bouts in dominant fashion! Two Submissions in the 1st Rd.!
Ron Smith took on Jaime Murciel in the Middleweight division and brought home the victory early in the 1st Rd. Ron overcame an unorthodox striking game of Murciel, and dominated with his Jiu-Jitsu! Going from knee bar/heel hook (standing) to transitioning to the arm bar, and ending it with a beautiful Triangle Choke. Ron earned the Submission Of The Night Award out of 29 fights!!! Great job my man
Andrew Roe competed for the PCFL #1 Contendership in the Heavyweight division. Taking on (4-0) Trevor Alden of True Fighter, Roe did some work with his Wrestling & Muay Thai. After some solid clinch work and beautifully placed switch knees, Andrew secured the takedown and picked up the Rear Naked Choke victory early in the 1st Rd. - Earning him a shot at the Championship, and improving his record to (7-0)!!
So proud of you guys. Executed a set game plan better than I could have ever imagined.
