Hi Everyone!
Just want to introduce my self.
I am Joe Burgess. I have been lurking on the forums for a while now. I and a huge jiu jitsu fan as well a huge fan of the system. I have been training off and on for the past 2 years so. Its hard to find a gym or school who is open to the system in the area I live in. Most instructors shun it so most of my drilling the basic RG path comes from me drilling alone or on my wife or kids! Haha yeah they are good sports. Its a hard to progress in the system without a proper partner to drill with. I am about 2 hours from Denny's school in San Fran so I hope to visit soon and do some drilling.
Well just wanted to say hi to everyone and maybe I'll see some you when I hit up Denny's school!

Yeah definitely going to hit up Denny's school after the holidays are over.
Haha Brandon, yeah it does feel like the dark side. I've heard a lot of trash talk about the RG, how it doesn't work, and to not practice it while rolling. Ehhh o well everyone's a critic.
I'm trying to find a balanced gym that it open to everything. You know like gi, nogi, RG and drilling! Whats up with people not wanting to drill? Drives me nuts. People always want to roll but never drill. I'm half tempted to build a grappling dummy so I can at least drill the basics
O yeah and Tori grats on your blue! I'm still working on my first stripe...
