So I'm sitting here watching the prelims, and every time I see someone in half guard I pray that I'll get to see some lockdown action. I think I'll lose my shit if I were to see an electric chair or an Apollo choke. I know Jessamyn Duke got to double unders, but I just wonder if anyone has seen some successful lockdown action in the UFC, or just MMA in general.
nope, not me sorry :( I don't really look out for that. But we do see a lot of the same moves in MMA. I'll keep an eye out on it. Let me know if you see someone use the lockdown.
Can't say I've ever noticed it. We once had a lockdown in prison which lasted all day; I eventually got out of it by using the prison guard.
Lockdown was one of the first 10p moves you saw used mainstream in mma. Sad thing is, they all use it to stall and get stood up. Nobody has an offensive lockdown that I've seen yet.
Anderson Silva has used it but like mentioned nobody has an offensive lockdown.
