So in light of the recent IBJJF scandal and all the politics that goes into a lot of these competitions what is the "UFC" of grappling both gi and no gi? Is there unified opinion out there on this? Nogi I would think is ADCC. Thoughts?

IBJJF is undoubtedly the largest and most prestigious gi tournament, regardless of scandal. Even their nogi tournaments get larger turnouts than the ADCC trials, even if they aren't beating ADCC for star power at nogi world's.
Agreed. The best compete in IBJJF consistently. ADCC Trials suffer due to all of the "Invited Grapplers" not having to compete in them. IBJJF will always be where the best go to compete, and it's shitty but if you wanna be the best, you've gotta go to where the best are atQuote:

It may be true for now that the top talent goes there, partly because they come from traditional schools, whos teaching, matches the ridiculous rules set.
You have to spend as much time learning the fucking rules as you do learning grappling.
If we ever want to see the grappling sports merge techniques so that the next evolution of grapeling can be born. IBJJF must die.
I urge everyone to boycott their events. If you truly feel you need to go IBJFF because you are at the top level in the world, speak out against them and make things change instead.
