What sucks is that the comission changed it to a no contest because Diaz tested positive for weed (unless I'm not remembering correctly). At the time, Gomi was the bomb! It was a huge deal in my opinion when Diaz landed that.
I was supposed to go to this pride. At the time they were selling all inclusive tix for about 1400 US(out of LA) Flight, tickets, hotel. It was insane. We passed and then shortly after pride got bought out. I regret it tremendously.
In case you didnt know.. this fight was overturned for WEED. I cant believe there are professionals.. ATHLETES even who use that vile drug.
I loved this fight between Gomi and Diaz. It is a shame that people use performance enhancing drugs like weed, but I do know plenty of athletes including many jiu jitsu practitioners that use that "vile drug" weed. I thought weed was actually part of 10th Planet? HmmQuote:
