White Belt Questions

New member here. I'm a surgical resident with little time who gets to a Gi class about 2x a week when i'm at my home hospital and once a week at a gracie gym occasionally when I'm away. I'd like go keep learning when I get a min so joined the pro group cause Eddie is interesting when I'm listening to the JRE. Any sequence or video's I should pay more attention to to learn? Whats the best way for a BJJ noob to learn from this website?

Me in Brief:
Former Crossfit trainer so still pretty strong/marginally fit.
Work 80 hours a week so not a lot of time.
Decent base of knowledge on the mat but not a ton of experience to draw from, and very open to learning whatever I can.

Thanks for any advice anyone wants to send my way.

Would probably suggest learning the rubber guard, lockdown and twister sequences first, thats where I started with the system

So the techniques on MTS that begin with those basics or as I did I went with the books and learnt from the start that way and there should be a section where it tells you where certain moves from the book are in the MTS episodes if you need a video demonstration

Start working on mastering the Warm Up sections, granby rolls, spiral, Hail Mary's watch the MTS that go over them in detail and get a foundation for them and work the basic rubber guard paths and lockdown paths to electric chair and dog fight position. Get those position down with the warms and you will be in excellent shape. :)

Let start with how to do a lock down followed by the whip up from there pic a sweep old school is a start. Rep it out over and over make every step as important as the finish. Build on that .there are books by eddie and dvds. And of course mine 10th planet all stars.

Thanks folks. Not got the flexibility for rubber guard right now. Nothing to do but put in work. Appreciate the comments and looking forward to learning.

Lockdown and whip up changed my world.

MTS all day if you want to learn the system from Eddie himself.
