Gifts or traps?!
So while i was watching MTS perfect spiderweb yesterday Eddie mentioned something about letting a person swim their arm through in one of the variations and it sounded like it would seem like a gift to the opponent. When in reality it was a trap. So my question is, what are some little "gift's" you all like to give to your opponents? You know the ones that haven't been covered yet here. I probably won't know what to do with them yet, but i bet others on this forum will :)

I wouldn't go recommending baiting at white belt level, but it's a great alternative to muscling through a roadblock. All in all, choosing a different path or route when reaching a dead end is what is supposed to be done, never force anything. :)
Couple of mine are: when on top side control, 1/4, or 1/2 guard, I bait people to get the undertook prematurely and with no angles.. I then proceed wih my whizzer game. D'arce usually, I do a JNT/d'arce hybrid, a guillotine, 100%, etc..
Also I have a sneaky turkey wrap I do off a "failed" kneebar. I invert from open guard to try a "sloppy" kneebar which I'm actually settin up the turkey wrap. Making sure my hips and all details are ready to turkey wrap 'em. They pass the guard/kneebar.... Right into my compression lock. I've landed this one on some notable badasses...who shall remain anonymous.
Honestly, giving underhooks and guard passes are not recommended. So use my examples as reference, don't let my bad jiujitsu ruin yours! Lol

I like when someone is using their forearm or elbow in my face or throat in attempt to create pressure to posture up. I act like I am having difficulty by maybe breathing out hard or something similar, but I am doing a few things while they try to pry free:
1. I pull their body back with my legs so they can't put all their body weight into their smashing arm.
2. I gently place my hand on their smashing arm behind their elbow (being gentle to not draw attention.)
3. Cup the back of their head with my arm on the opposite side of their smashing arm.
Then all at once, I pull their body weight back in with my legs, shuck the arm over and pull their head down for an arm triangle :)
This is a low-risk trap so I thought you may like it! I either angle out and finish it in guard or stay flat and then straighten my legs to flatten their base out. After that I sneak a butterfly hook in to flip them and then apply finish.

I forgot about another easy arm triangle trap that is fun to try. This one is from back control and if you are on the side of them, not completely on their back. If you find yourself losing back control or they are using a JJ escape (scraping you off with the mat) sometimes you can keep your head really tight to the back of their shoulder and you loosen up your legs so they feel that they can turn and usually they turn into an arm triangle depending on how wicked your arm triangles from top are, you can catch people turning into you while using your head to keep the arm trapped. The seat belt turns into a head and arm set up as long as you keep tight.

my favourites are getting into skydive mount and letting them get the underhook so they can try bridge and sweep me. then i grab the overhook and go into mono control.
i also really like going into the new electric chair sweep, where you threaten with dogfight and then sweep with electric chair (shown in mts uk)
