I am about to move from Los Angeles to Toronto. I have been training at HQ for about 5 months now and love it. I am looking for a good No Gi school that perhaps follows 10planet techniques so I can continue my progress. Any advice would be much appreciated.
will you be right in TO? or somewhere in the GTA?
top places in the immediate TO area that i know of would be
- openmat (shawn williams), not much nogi but darson hemmings and ostap manastryski are there (they are savages and are blowing up on the world scene)
- toronto bjj (gracie)
- toronto nogi (drysdale, might be your best bet for nogi only training)
- budokan (razek, nova uniao i think)
i would have different suggestions if you are in mississauga or some surrounding area though

Come try out Toronto BJJ. You can do a 30 day no-commitment trial. We've got the best competition record, not only in Toronto, but all of Canada. Professor Jorge Britto is a modern day samurai who produces BEASTS, both in gi and nogi. If you are into MMA, Toronto BJJ has a pretty good kickboxing and MMA program as well.
