Post Metamoris Rant...

So from a business perspective I can only imagine the recent exposure to the 10th Planet system is welcomed and a good thing. But I'm a very protective and territorial kind of guy. And I don't like it. I enjoy being part of the system partially because of it's exclusivity.

I know in order for the system to grow more people will have to trust that the system is viable and jump on board. I understand that.
I know that at the end of the day this (owning a 10th Planet School) is how many of our brothers and sisters feed their families. I understand that.
But I am not required to like it. I don't want to stop it, don't get me wrong. It's akin to being too damn busy at work. I hate it but I know it's just part of what I do.
Does anybody else dislike the rash of lockdown clinics/seminars aimed at New Believers or am I the lonely asshole here?

Think about it this way, If Eddie would have finished him with a gogo, there would have been rubberguard seminars.

Chris you are a jerk....Just playin...I kind of liked the fact that nobody outside of us knew the electric chair because I would hit it with ease anytime I rolled with guys from other schools but that is just me being selfish and now I had to refine it so that it works even if they know it's coming, but the great part is that we know for certain that if you execute it correctly it will work regardless. We are still ahead of the curve my elitist friend ;) but I get where you are coming from I dislike frontrunners too

It's tough Chris I know how you feel especially living in a place where I was constantly bashed for being a 10P head (and still most likely will be) and now people want me to show them the electric chair. Its like Metallicas Black album all over again. You start hearing nothing else maters and your like what the fuck? but with this all being said The system is the best and those trendy fucks will fall off and we will still be here soldiering along!!! Plus big ups to Eddie for the show he put on I wouldnt want it any other way.

The nice thing about this is indeed now that everyone is going to focus on defending lockdown, quarter clinch, and Electric chair it'll open up other items (traditional half, butterfly half, old school, plan B, etc).

I think the key word you said is "trust". People will always jump on the bandwagon and ride the wagon for a month or two. But in the end only the people who trust in the system will be left standing.

Well that's my two cents anyways.

In agreement that most will fall off, you also must think about those who stay on. We have such a vast encyclopedia of moves, counters, counters to counters, positions, etc, that even many within the system don't even bother learning all of it until properly introduced, or by studying really hard. Therefore, as most fall off, those who take the time to really study and get down n dirty with ALL of the system will become devout Nibiru Warriors, and fall in love with the system.

I should know. That's how it happened for me. Now I jump at every opportunity to travel, hang, and train with my 10P family, as well as throw down in competition for us.
