3rd option (pulling guard)

There are other options for takedowns other than double leg and singles that should not be left out of training. Many people are unaware or do not know the effectiveness of no gi judo (karo) Greco Roman (Randy Couture) and Sambo (Reilly bodycomb) Muay Tai clinch, Catch as Catch can.

There could be more than 3 options.

1.Bang
2.Wrestle
3.pull guard
4.clinch, judo, sambo, Greco
5.kick like bruce lee or Cung lee if your ground game off your back is good
6.hand trapping/muay thai/takedown/dirty boxing (close quarters combat)

I could be wrong but just some I Ideas that I felt needed to be shared with 10th planet fighters who are looking for an edge.

Clinching and banging is option 1, stand and bang, unless you're clinching on your knees :)

and there are a few standing submissions from inside the clinch

Any examples, just curious for my own knowledge as I only know a couple, and any new moves from clinch I would love to learn.

If the ground game is an entire universe, then would it stand to reason that stand up is as well, including all the positions in between?

We need to stay relevent and always explore new paths helping us stay 4 steps ahead. Take a lead so far ahead that it will become difficult to catch up. Others will see that are way is faster and will run down the stairs to catch the elevator we have taken to the top. They will pass their comrads on the stairs but we will always be on a higher level if we continue with the same intelligence, passion and dedication.

And if clinching and banging is option 1, does it include takedowns and submissions from said clinch?
