perth no gi tournament result

so i had my first tournament today in the novice 85kg and under section.
I lost 18 to 6 in points. The dude was just way too strong in the upper body for me.
He took my back too many times, but i got 2 sweeps. Im pretty happy that I got as far as I did, and at the 2 min mark it was a pretty even match. I am now going to work on my upper body strength and I think with a bigger guy next time I'm just going to let him take me down so I end up in guard and try for the flying kung fu.
Ill be back in december for another tourny. Only guy repping 10th planet in Western Australia, wish I could have done better but I gave it my all.

I would like to take this as a chance to say sorry to my mate Jarrad due to me having to drive my mum to the hospital due to a blood clot in her arm all i can say is mate im so fucking sorry i missed it i feel like shit having missed it i was psyched on in for weeks leading up to it sorry again
