Nobody listens when I say swing the far leg over like you're spinning around and you'll end up in mount or guard depending on the force. I was the only one who used this at the Marcelo school I went to and people stopped using the elbow push on me quick. Maybe it doesn't really work, but on low level guys that practiced that escape daily, I used all the time.
How are they executing it from twister side? I can see how it's being done from side or judo side, but not twister side. How are you ending up after they do it?
Armbar. In MMA I would not recommend it, but in BJJ bait the Hiesman and snatch that arm.
I heisman out of ts. I also get heisman'd.
If I'm on his right side, I reach my left hand under his lower back and to his far love handle. I grab as much flesh as I can and work to smash his face with my hips. He has to be on his side to heisman from there. If your arm is under him its waaay harder and often ends in top turtle with the desouza grip.
I'll get the electric chair sweep, as I'm on top, I have their leg and neck held together with a gable grip. As soon as I let go, they immediately push and squirm. I try my best to stay in position by bear hugging their hips and legs but I end up losing position
I would try circling to the back of they are facing you. If their back is turned and they are up on their elbow, you can baseball slide into a back crucifix
See if you can get to north south . That way your spine is inline and you have your weight on top in a kind of 4 corner mount.
I imagine this is your question check out what Marcelo does at the 35 second mark he is such a tricky grappler:))
