I voted him as "international fighter of the year" too...Aoki's loss to Gilbert Melendez took him out for me, still a fan though.

I voted for Aoki for International but I gave George in the other category he is in. I can't turn my back on the tobikan judan.

If it was BJJ artist in mma of the year I'd vote George :O but he is kind of underclassed for fighter of the year and Breakthrough _Fighter_ of the Year def, Jones out of the five and I personlly feel both Overeem and Aioki are better fighters then him.

Will say tho, that for me he put BBJ back in the UFC in Sydney. Controlling Stevenson of your back is no easy task, he is both a bjj and judo blackbelt and has some serious power
