mint film, the guy's a prison legend over here in england. he's spent so much time exercising with no equipment he's now got enormous triceps, pretty big biceps and a beard that is biblical in scale
he's spent a lifetime in jail,and he hasn't even killed anyone,WTF:confused:
This movie is a piece of shit. There is zero character development, just a series of strange semi-entertaining nude fight scenes. Not at all true to Bronson's actual life. Comparing it to Clockwork Orange is a joke in my opinion.
I liked it. I actually watched it in successive order with "The Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia" and a documentary on Bukowski. So I got to enjoy a thematic thread of anti-hero nihilism for the week. It's interesting how characters like Bronson, The White Family, and Bukowski all capture the imagination of the public due to their anti authority stance on life. In all cases, the anti-hero seems to become trapped within their own infamy, having to live up to their self destructive reputation no matter the cost.
ya i seen it and let me tell you that jail house fame is some real shit and some guys love it.
i also watched Jacobs ladder recently and that movie was a bit fucked but still a good watch.
