Hi guys was trying to sink the lockdown from my half guard but was way to slippy to sink it in. Anyone have any tips or solutions to this problem if you don't wear the gi pants?

Ankle socks.
I will often use the whip down to get it locked in then switch which way my hips are facing to lock it in real tight and play off it. But of course as always, the knee pinch is the most important factor the whole time...
Ya at the beginning or rolls i can usually keep iy locked pretty tight, but after about 30 minutes when the sweat is flying i does slip around a bit more, they may slip to quarter guard and i have to fight to get them back to lockdown, but i just ordered some spats and ankle sleeves, im gonna see of i like those better then nothing since i typically play a lockdown heavy game.
Sweet thanks I totally forgot the knee pinch. I thought you only whipped up once the lockdown was secured though?
Developing the squeeze with your knees/legs is super important! And squeezing tight with the lockdown and extending your legs
