Looking to get out and compete again around September, and wouldn't mind competing at a more prestigious tournament this time. Anyone recommend any? I live in Michigan, but I've never been afraid to travel.

The only tourney that I am aware of in September is the NYS- Hayastan Grappling Challenge on September 27th in Fredonia, NY. I will be doing this tourney myself. Its a 3-2-1 format meaning the first 3 minutes are sub only, the next two restart on the feet with points. If the match is tied at the end of the five minutes, the first one to get a takedown wins. All subs are illegal I believe. Usually some of the warriors from Rochester hit up the Hayastan tournaments. Also, the 28th there is a Gokor seminar if that interests you. Hope this helps...http://www.nys-hgc.com/index.html
