Congrads to Alan Jouban winning his UFC debut. He had a solid start in the first round then got hurt a little midway and took some good shots, had me worrying a little bit but he shook it off and pulled out a knockout finish in the first round. I'm glad there's another 10th Planet guy in the UFC. I hope we can see some good jiu jitsu techniques in the octagon from this guy.
Congrats to him. I was hoping to see him mystify the crowd with the rubber guard, but aslong as he wins, fantastic! I hope he shows off some 10th planet in the future.

This match-up had stand-up war written all over it and it didn't disappoint!
So proud of my boy, he's been working his ass off for years to get there and landed in splendid fashion. i wasn't too surprised by his performance as I've come to expect that from him and soon the world will too. Next 170lb champ, mark my words.
And I'm sure I heard the THUD of a million pairs of panties all hitting the floor at the same time ( and a few pairs of jocks ) when he kissed the camera :)
Seriously though congrats, loving hearing about people working their ass's off and being rewarded. Now the real hard work starts. Much respect.

Excellent debut! Was pumped when he went to the ground and reached for that foot only to close his guard... Shieette! I'm glad he won though great stand up win!
Alan has the heart of a lion on pcp. Some fighters fold when they get hurt and some turn into the Incredible Hulk :-)
