Got my purp tonight.
I received my purple belt tonight for Relson Gracie. I'm kind of a hit and miss on the forums. Some of you know me, some don't..but when I first started training jiujitsu, I got my hands on the MTRG dvd's at the lowest time in my life and instantly became hooked. I watched the entire set, almost daily, for months. From there, I started to train with friends in the basement of a church, and then to under a carport. We trained outside, ALL YEAR ROUND for a couple of years. While I did learn from the DVD's, and a couple of seminars, Eddie and Zog, there really is nothing like having a legit coach standing over you. I made the move to a bigger town, and joined Relson Gracie Tyler, Tx. I've been here for about 3 and a half years. It's home, but there's still 10thPlanet blood in my veins. So, thank you to Eddie for saving my life, and not even knowing it...and thank you to all of you for doing your part to keep jiujitsu alive! 10P4L

Awesome! Congrats on purple. Was lucky enough to have Relson come do a seminar at my school last year and it was the best. Great stories and fundamental techniques.
