NAGA Divisions Question?
I plan on signing up for NAGA SD on Monday if I don't have to leave for a training mission next wknd. I've never done a NAGA no gi tourney and was looking at the divisions and trying to look at which one to sign up in. I was promoted to blue belt about 8 mths ago after training for about 9 mths. So, I've been training a little under 2 yrs. The NAGA division has beginners from 6mths - 2 yrs of training. I didn't know if they had a belt equivalent or they just go by this for all of the other grappling arts without belts. Thanks for any info. Much appreciated.

Intermediate is where you should compete as a blue belt. Usually purple belts and above go Expert division for the belt.

IMO touraments should be about testing your limits, if you happen medal in the process it's all the sweeter:)

Compete where youre comfortable. At blue belt you could do well at intermediate for sure
