My match from Naga
Hello all, I made my first jump to expert as a newly promoted blue belt lol my decision came after having a good last 2 years in intermediate as a white belt and losing about 75lbs i move better and than i ever did before and just wanted the chance to experience higher level belts in competition. I was told by the bracket table he was a carlson gracie brown belt, The guy told me after he was a brown bet in gi but not what school he was an instructor from wherever he was from someone on fb pointed out his rash guard logos weren't of gracie so not exactly sure on his lineage. I wanted to get a finish but i'm happy either way. Still got some bad habits to fix like staying flat on my back during LD but overall felt pretty good with how i moved and such guy had an incredible base.

From his logo on his shorts it looks like he's from a Saulo Ribeiro school

Hamp, we are all really proud of the progress you have made! Not just your jiu jitsu, either. You've added years and happiness to your life by making the decision to lose that weight. You've set a great example for lots of people!

thank you sir, I'm pumped to meet you at the camp. Another lil known fact about me that i usually dont share is i have had very very bad asthma my whole life regular hospital stays home breathing treatments what a normal cold for most people has always been an upper respitory infection to me and since i have really gotten serious in the last year even that has changed couldnt pay me to stop this i know the term is over used but jiu jitsu really did save my life or well at least extended it :)
