How do I get from Knee On Belly to Spiderweb?

Hi,

I often get to knee on belly then spin for an arm bar but I end up with 1 leg over the head and the other shin stuck by the guys ribs with my foot on the floor.

This is ok for a traditional arm bar but I'd really like to get to full spiderweb to give me the full range of options and optimal control.

Can anyone help?

Turn your knee in towards your other knee, moving your other ankle out. This will give you the space to flip the leg over the body.
