developing a good squeeze

Looking for a little help guys, I know it's probably been said before, somewhere in the millions of threads ha, but im looking for some tips on developing a good squeeze.

When I establish, MC or NY it's really easy for the person to push my knee to the floor, although I usaully transition to the jiu claw, omo or imonari fairly easy from this postion,

I can't help thinking it shouldn't be this easy to push my knee and attempt a pass, is it my squeeze? I'd like to hang out in rubber guard and try to work something else

If its the squeeze, any tips for developing a shit hot SQUEEZZZZE please thanks in advance

Just clinch as much as you can. If he's pressing your knee down in rubberguard your not pinching your knees together. I'd go straight to NY crackhead or double bag the whole way thru.

When i'm home i use a 55cm swiss ball. it helps on my squeeze knees together and my leg curls in rubber guard. Its cheap and works well. Then practice with another person resisting helps also.

I'm not sure if it's a lack of "squeeze" per se. If they're passing your free leg in mission control or New York, then look to play crackhead and New York crackhead, then of course you can double bag from there etc... But, if they're just getting you to Jersey, develop a good meat hook and triangles off of it, or you can always just clear the head, and kung fu to the gogo clinch.

I'm sorry I don't have any suggestions on the leg curling, but it will develop in time. I didn't do anything special, it just happened the more reps I got in and and as I developed a better understanding of the mechanics of rubber guard.

This. From what I know, the most diligent squeeze student of Zogs is Carbone, and I hear his squeeze is vicious. Lookup his highlights and watch those triangles and insane closed guard retention.

Coach zog has a killer squeeze. He often talks about using a medicine ball during commerials to build the endurance and strength of the squeeze
