Wow, really surprised they didn't even give a reference to Eddie.
I mean it was a 4 minute segment for FOX. I'm sure in a full length Gracie Breakdown they would give 10P a little more recognition
He mentioned the rubber guard but otherwise kinda stayed technical. Obviously we saw the zombie but he's not naming the names. Rener does alright in the jiu jitsu department. I never fail to learn from his videos, to be quite honest. The detail of finding your base on the omoplata and driving the right pressure was worth the price of admission.
The fact that he called it Rubber Guard was pretty close to a 10p callout. Closer than I expected. Usually the entire RG system is referred to as "high guard"... which is misleading at best.Quote:
