The new 10th Planet Jiu Jitsu Newark moon. One word, BRILLIANT!
After living in Ohio for sometime I'm glad that there is FINALLY a 10th Planet school in Ohio! Even better is the fact is that it is pretty close to me. 10th Planet Newark is the mother fucking bomb basically! Jon Borrows is a great dude and a great teacher. I went there for the first time last night and had the best time of my life. After battling and losing (to put it mildly) to depression for a number of years now, coming back to jiu jitsu and 10th Planet was just the medicine I needed. Instantly after training, and even during, I felt and overwhelming sense of joy and happiness lost on me for countless years, months, and days.
Jiu Jitsu-1, Depression-0. Eddie, you made a brilliant choice in entrusting Jon to run this new moon. I cannot thank you or him enough. ALL the guys there were funny and welcoming. Even as shy a person as I am I opened up fairly quick. I can't wait for more training and fun times with new friends. I'm glad to be back and in good spirits with even better people. Super talented group of guys at 10th Planet Newark! I hope to one day get good enough and with the help of Eddie open up a new moon to help expose 10th Planet to even more people. I hope all of you guys are safe and well. If you're ever in Ohio or traveling through, it is more than worth it to stop by 10th Planet Newark.
