He's not wrong. Isn't it just injecting fluids to help rehydrate? In that case it's just a form of drinking but avoiding the digestive system. They banned drinking...Quote:

Whilst I agree with joe in that cutting that amount of water requires an IV to do so safely I don't think the IV is really a means to an end. We should be looking at how all fighters can safely make the correct weight for safe, fair fights; not just promote bigger and bigger guys at each weight.
