I can't seem to upload and photo's to my album. Am I an idiot? Or is there an issue? Thanks again.

You probably need to subscribe to a pro membership in order to do photos. I know that without a pro membership you can't upload an Avatar photo and you can't go back and edit your posts, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the deal.
