Music Choice During Rolling

When I started wrestling the only music that was ever played in the gym during practice was Metal. It wasnt until I started training in the Marines that I started listening to what I wanted during practices. Now that Im rolling at a new gym with new people I listen to whatever they want to. After rolling with Slick Rick I realized I really like Reggae because it helps me relax.

What kind of music do you listen to at your gym when you roll. Does it enhance your practice somehow?

I'm into Trap or Old School Gangsta Rap.

I think it depends on if you are in or out of "training camp mode". In= dubstep, electronica, rap...just generally upbeat, fast paced. Out= reggae, black keys radio type stuff. :-)

I have a playlist that I update every few weeks. Some songs stay, some go, some new songs are added.

I actually like to listen to Rihanna or Swing Music. It started as a joke but it really helps me grapple smoothly and I feel quite free on the mats when I do so.

I prefer no music.... same as my yoga.
