A guy like Joe is going to have promoted a huge amounts of black belts. Your gonna need to be willing to drop this guys name if you want to know if anyone has heard of him. Its very possible that a guy is pretending to be his black belt but no one can give you feedback without more info.
Is it that they're fake black belts or just trash black belts? I suspect a guy of being a fake black belt but I won't out him because I don't know. Who am I to question him? I suspect that there may be a ton of legit black belts that are just not that good. Am I crazy?
You're gonna find that at all levels...legitimacy = lineage for the most part. Doing your due diligence in determining if they are legit or not is important...how good they are is up in the air however.Quote:
