Matt Skaff has one of the best ones I've ever felt. Mine is horrible.
I know Adam Sachnoff has a brutal choke there, as well.
Lachlan Giles High Percentage No Gi, worth every cent. Such a good teacher; clear and concise instructional, real humble dude too you can msg him on fb with any question he was happy to answer any of queries I had. :)
Rener teaches a mean arm-in guillotine series in his Guillotine Mastery class. Best thing I’ve seen on the topic by far. It’s something he’s developed only in the last couple years, fairly recent. He connects the d’arce and anaconda with it beautifully. It completely changed my perspective on the position. He’s caught me with the d’arce every time we roll, which is set up from the head and arm wrap. He calls it “tying the rope”. I can usually give him a nice roll but once he ties the rope, it’s only a matter of time. Very very hard to defend all three submissions once he has it. I know what’s coming and he still catches it. If you doubt me, it’s the same connections he teaches Brian Ortega, same concepts used to catch Renato Moicano and Cub Swanson. Also it’s connected to the d’arce that Brian had cinched in against Swanson at the end of the first round til the clock ran out.. I see him and Rener sparring on the sidelines a lot and this series is at the forefront of what I see.
Of all the things Rener puts out, if you had to pick one thing of his to learn, make it this. The results are there.
