yea Terre is the shit, Cobrinha trained a lot with him, hes not afraid to attack submission's, rather than just trying to score points, just like Roger, & thats probably why he lost to Roger, thats why there should only be points fo sub attempts, that would add some real excitement
Terere is awesome! He was one of the best BJJ guys back in the day, unfortunately I believe he left the sport for several years due to depression and drug use. I think he recently returned to training, and I wish him the best of luck in the future. Btw, does anyone know if he plans to compete again?
probably not, he problems may have come from the fact that it's hard to make a living in brazil, the guys who left brazil early to open schools in the U.S had the best chance to make a living teaching jits, Terre probably couldn't get the support he needed to leave brazil & spread his skills, just like Futebol Brasilero, the players all have a goal to leave brazil to play in the big money european leagues. Futebol players are actually brazils largest export next to sugar. Futebol, Jiujitsu & MMA can be a way out of the Favellas
I love his style of jits would love to see him back on the tournament scene for sure!
