Former Strikeforce middleweight champion, Jake Shields has today revealed that he’s bringing in former UFC middleweight title contender, Chael Sonnen and Bellator stand-out, Ben Askren to help him prepare for Georges St. Pierre at UFC 129 in April.
The UFC welterweight number one contender revealed the news to The Fight Show earlier today who in turn posted it via their Twitter page.

A great move. Those were really his only two options... get magically better at striking or improve his wrestling.
Good idea on Shields side..Chael is an animal
terrible. he would have been better off bringing in a conditioning expert and a versatile striking animal to mimic GSP.
He is asking two wrestlers to help wrestle? bad call.

Jake is so terrible standing up...I mean...I really just don't see him being able to develop his stand up game enough to make a dent. GSP vs. Kosheck 2....accept Kosheck talked enough smack that you actually thought he had a prayer of winning. Then of course, gsp jabbed him to death.
Jake Shields is going to win.
