I have found that there is better (higher level) competition at grapplers quest vs. NAGA. NAGA has changed there rules a ton in the past year. Some rule changes include:
-If you wear GI pants your opponent is allowed to grab them as if it were a GI match (read it...its right in the 2011 rules).
Observation 4.-Some players feel there is an advantage to wearing gi pants or sweat pants that extend below the knee. Those players electing to wear full length pants that go below the knee should understand that the pants can be grabbed by the other player, to takedown, to pin, etc
-Heel hooks\slicers\toe holds etc. allowed in EVERY division (Beg.\Inter\Novice).
-From standup, snap down and spin to the back (no hooks needed) is 2 points (same as wrestling).
-2 points for submission attempt
-1 point for minor submission attempt (no advantage points in No-Gi)
-Slapping hands and sitting to your butt results in 1 point for the opponent.
-You can grab your own shorts.
So its really important to read the rules for each tourney before you enter.
