When I go up agianst someone who has a really good open guard or butterfly guard I find it easier to just go into thier half guard> When I do this I use the twister side control to get my leg free and end up getting mount most of the time. Is this common for everyone ? I mean I hate to get into half guard but if i do it seems alot higher percentage to get to side control than fighting agianst a good open guard guy..
