I was there too, my son was doing his first tournament with the gi. He had only been in class ab out 5 times , so he got worked. But he still wants to go to another one.
I wanted to hang around with Salami and check out everyone else from 10th planet, but when the kids were done mine was bummed and we had to go for ice cream

Kent: Im sure he did good... first tournaments never go well..( it seems like that too me.) and ice cream is always the great idea. i will be attending the next subleague qualifier=) try to finds and say Hi!

Keep his chin up, imagine where he could be in a few more months or so of training :)
