How do you carb load?
I quit smoking cigarettes and i started working out a lot but quickly realized that ceasing bad habits was only half of what's needed to turn my health around. So, I've taken a great interest in nutrition...
I have thrown together a trail mix of several flavors of granola (chocolate, vanilla, honey), dried bananas, hemp nuts, peanuts, cashews, walnuts, cacao nibs, total cereal, all covered with cacao powder. Everything but the total cereal is all organic and non-GMO. No sugar added, honey was the sweetening agent in all of the granolas.
Whatchu think? How do you carb-load for a work out?

It sounds really good...I use honey in my oatmeal every morning instead of brown sugar. I started training jits in January of 2010 and at that point was a smoker since the age of 18...I am now 33, and have not smoked in 3 months, but it took a good year of training before I was able to kick the habbit...I guess what I am trying to say is GOOD JOB!

HAHA! for sure, tobacco is very addictive! surprised to see another guy who started smoking at age 18.. lol i'm now 25. I trained when i was young, started smoking pot at 15... stopped training after school officials kicked me off teams and eventually outta high school because they were piss testing me... started smoking cigarettes to ween myself off weed (big mistake lol). i started really killin myself with cardio and I knew i had to quit... i have a set-back here and there when around friends who chain smoke... i've probably smoked one cigarette a week for the last 6 weeks... Niacin and hardcore exercise>addiction. i like that tho... timing.
