oh man... what about back to alabama???
and besides, chicago has some shitty ass gun laws!
it's still undecided at this point but i might be able to go to a better college in Chicago fully paid for. Just doing some research ahead of time.
Well im from chicago and i am moving to L.A Aug 29 to train at headquarters. There are a couple of good gyms out here. I think they are mainly in the burbs but i mean there are a couple well known gracie schools. ( I heard rumors that the black and brown belts rarely teach the classes) I know FLO MMA is a good gym. This is where they have this SICK jiu jitsu guy Rodrigo Comprido, Andrea Arlovski, Ramiro Mota, Vitor Vianna and a bunch of other good guys...but i would highly recommend this gym...i live in the city by lake Michigan so this is about 45 minutes from me...too far..LOL I know Jab is a descent gym and i think Dino Costeas is jiu jitsu instructor...heard he barley trains his guys either.....MTC i know is where Clay Quida trains at.....i say just go to FLO......those guys are always there.
thx for the info, jeez thats alot of places to choose from i'll have to check all them out before i make a decision
Crystal Lake has Curran Martial Arts. http://teamcurran.com/
Or There is Carlson Gracie Team MMA in Aurora.
FLO is in Palatine.
Midwest Training center is in Schaumburg.
I'm not sure of anything in the city but the suburbs have alot of gyms. I'm in Joliet so if you ever want to stop by the gym I go to find me on facebook. Check these places out. 11th Dimension, PAC MMA, Carlson Gracie, MMA Stop w/Clay Guida (no he doesn't train there he is just in business with the psychical therapy place on the bottom level), Gilberts Grappling/G2. Will County Boxing.
I'm a bit tired so if was already posted, then I apologize, but I think BIMA in Chicago is either a 10PJJ friendly school or a future affiliate. Someone please let me know if my info is on point.
BIMA Chicago is the place to be. Im biased a bit. Lots of 10th Planet love at that gym. Hit me up I know the owner. Its 15 miles north of the Chi in Highland Park, IL
Jeff Curran has an amazing facility out there.
Elite Fight Systems in Crest Hill has mad love for the system as well.
