Yes, he did like he does with all the Gracie Humaita students, even if they have other instructors, when it's time for them to get promoted to black belt, Royler is the one who promotes them. but in the daily basis, I used to train with Vini Aieta, who's a Royler black belt. It's not like Royler never taught me anything, but he was not my full time instructor, like Vini was.
