Hope this is in the right place, I couldn't find an introduction thread

Have just signed up to the forum and now I’m here I can't believe it took me so long to get my shit together.

I've been a huge fan of Master Eddie’s style for years and after attempting to learn the system by myself, via DVD and books. I finally found 10th planet Melbourne and Frank Barca, this guy is my Hero, he has been such a positive influence on my jiu jitsu and is a true friend! I live 5 hours from his gym but he's always happy to help out, via all forms of media, every time I get up to the gym he treats me like family coming home.

After my first class I was hooked by his teachings and charisma, but 2 unfortunate injuries and the early birth of my son held me back for a little over a year, but I’ve been making the 10 hour trip once or twice a month since last year, and hopefully Frank would agree he has improved my game leaps and bounds, I even got the privilege of attending Einstein’s Seminar in April. Aside from my Training Frankie has been a huge positive influence on my life in general! I honestly cannot Praise Frank, his teachings and students enough.

I just wanted to take the time to say Hi to everyone and give much love to not only a great teacher but one of the nicest guys I’ve met. If you live in Australia, I don’t care what you have to do, just get down to 10th planet Melbourne and be blown away like I have!

i'm glad i recently contacted Frank about travelling down from Cairns for a couple of weeks worth of classes! maybe i'll meet you down there....congrats on the son too i'm a new father the shit is mindblowing lol i am currently watching giggle and hoot with my lil' one!

Ashley, I can honestly say mate you'll want to move down there within the hour, when you heading down??? And congrats to yourself too, yea hthe little fella struggled early on, he spent his first 6 weeks in intensive care in adelaide, but he's come leaps and bounds since and is keeping me on my toes, he didn't start walking he started running, climbing and jumping! ha

probably be a couple of months yet gotta get the cash up e.t.c and obviously being a parent too you understand the difficulties there... glad to hear ur lil' fella's doing well lol.... my daughter when sitting in the high chair or baby seat e.t.c locks her foot in behind her knee the perfect triangle lol!!!! she's my lil bjj superstar she is 16 months old and i have just started pinning her down (only lightly) and letting her force her way through.... it's built up great determination she never cries or quits im so fucking proud lol... i just hope i get a world championship before her!!!

but yer hopefully Aug/Sept time i'l be looking to go down there for 2 weeks!
