life and pyschedelics

I hope this is not to bold of a first post, but i would like to say first off thank you and these forums are awesome eddie bravo.
Alright, im going to make the assumption that some peoples lives here have been affected by the use of a psychedelic substance(other than pot if you can classify it as that)
My question is simple, but complex: how does an experiance such as a breakthrough dose of dmt or a mushroom trip(which is 4-po n,n, dmt anyways lol) effect your decision making and output of those choices made in daily life? Specifically, how do you think it affects your perception and thought processes that develop your ability and martial technique as a developijg human being? For the better or worse, or maybe something beyond a simple explanation?
I ask this today because i THINK it helps, but how do i know im not bullshitting myself?

Yes i have watched this and read the books by terrence mckenna, dennis, even got inti a little bit of daniel pinchbech. I would also recommend 'manifesting the mind' it is another documentary with dennis, rick, alex gray, dan pinchback, and lots of others.
All of whom recommend the insight in which one can gain from such experiances... but none talk about how it affects there martial arts... lol! And isnt joe rogan in that doc dmt the spirit molecule?

I know its just weed, but its a mild psychedelic and it helped me out big time. I have benefitted greatly from smoking weed.

Weed has helped with things like stretching and hard training a lot for me. I find i can zone out and just go into a place i usually can't, and I can get much more out of my time. Cannabis definitely helps a lot of athletes.
I haven't tried dmt but my experiences with mushrooms and lsd has shaped the way i think about my life and training something i like instead of sitting on my ass all day.
But also drugs affect different people differently and I think the only way to know how it will affect you is experience it and see.
I highly doubt psychedelic powerful enough to make you think differently or realize things will allow you to ponder bjj or mma.
But the way it affects you might indirectly change your game or your view of techniques.
