Women's MMA: Yay or Nay?
I'm sorry but I don't like to see women fighting. I never want to see women fighting in the UFC. There is just not enough good women fighters out there and their bodies are not meant for combat. I want to see the toughest dudes in the world compete against each other. Not some butch dykes throwing arm punches at each other. It's just not right. Nay. What say you?

With the exception of watching Arianny Celeste climb into the octagon in that little UFC outfit to get it on with another one of those ring girls, women's MMA is of no interest to me.
Seriously though, the biggest problem in MMA (or really, the UFC I should say) is that there are so many fighters I can't keep track of who's who. The last thing we need is even more fighters.

It's the same for me and the WNBA. I don't really watch it, or women's MMA, but if they want to do it, all the more power to them. I'm sure they'll have fans and should be able to compete if they want to.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong. I think women should be allowed to compete in MMA. However, I never want to see them compete in the UFC. Smaller regional shows is cool with me, but I still won't watch it.

I don't care if girls want to fight. Its like any other sport though, it just isn't as good. Some girls are beasts though but the talent pool is pretty shallow.

If you aren't a fan of Megumi Fuji just turn in your fan badge and call it quits.

I know a guy that beats his wife. He beats the shit out of her.

Yay, but barely. Granted, female MMA has not gotten anywhere near the point of male MMA. It's often a little more sloppy, and women are just not built to fight the same way. But it can also be graceful. Women move way more smoothly than men. Just watch the way a girl can shoot her hips into an armbar. I think if a woman wants to train and deal with the physical toll of MMA, let her.
On the other hand, there was an article on Sherdog recently that came really close to changing my mind. A legit MD discusses why MMA is so, so much worse to the female body. I was sure I knew where I stood, but now I'm just short of undecided.

I love womens mma. I watch it follow the fighters. and the scene. I've trained w/ females and they put in just as much as everyone else. It just needs to progress a lil. I find it's like the early days of ufc as far as sloppy tech. You got pro female boxers and kickboxer learning A arm bar, and stepping in the cage. And vice versa. Female mma just needs a year or two.

Yay! But the orgs should choose who fights more carefully. sometimes they overlook real talent. I love womens MMA, but hate when they find the real shitty fighters.. Lately it's been getting better IMO..!
