My top student Daniel Valdez, and new student (already a super stud) Ethan Rhoades both kicked butt at the latest Northwest Grappling Challenge on 9-11-10.
Ethan finished first beating 5 opponents i think. all but one by submission
Daniel competed both Gi (they asked him to) and Nogi, and finished 2nd after a 2 point Overtime loss in the finals. I think he had about 5 matches as well.
It was a solid performance by both athletes.

Thanks guys for the love, unfortunately though I couldn't find my video camera before the tournament so no video. I went 2-2 (arm bar and arm triangle submissions) combined gi and no gi for second place and Ethan had 4 submissions total 5 wins for first place. We both had good level competition and repped well.
