Stretching Question
I can do a full butterfly knees to the floor but I cannot lean forward without my knee coming up. When I use a wall in my butterfly and try to lean forward the outside of my left knee starts to hurt. What stretches should I do to be able to fold forward once my butterfly stretch is full and my knees are to the floor

I find it helps to grab my feet and place my elbows on my legs as I come down. Maybe this will help?

Sounds like your left ITB / iliotibial band might be tight too. Stretch that one out or use a foam roller on it. That might help with the pain.
