Not happening,there bringing in extra cops in a bit but theres no martial law and definately no military intervention to sort the riots out.its all just newspapers making everything sound worse

There is no Martial law in London at the present time (14:17, 09,08,2011) Just extra Police. I should know I live in the UK and most of my friends and family live in London. I know those videos can seem disturbing but those who are familier with English Football hooligan culture (Or should I say violence) will be used to most of those images. Not saying it is right though incase anyone misunderstands where I'm coming from.

theres not gonna be any martial law here unless shit starts getting incredibly worse. martial law is a last resort, and almost guarantees innocent casualties. soldiers arent trained to police their own country. im just glad they havent started up where i am yet, although it sucks i cant go shopping anywhere now, all the shops near me are closed down :(
