Im gonna compete sept 17th. and the rules are the same as ibjjf rules. I was wondering if the Japanese necktie and short arming to get the darce are illegal since they are both frontal neck cranks.

As far as I know... cranks that look like chokes are legal.

haha the last thing I would want to do is hurt someone. Unless there douchebags haha. Reason I asked was because I keep asking the officials of the tournament and every response is see the "ibjjf rules". And Thats during phone calls.
